How much does it cost to ship wine?

There is a flat shipping fee of $8.95 for all orders + $1 for every bottle in your order. So, if you order 2 bottles of wine you shipping cost is $10.95. Therefore, if you order a case of wine (12 bottles) shipping will cost you $20.95. The more you buy the better deal you get with shipping.  We also occasionally offer free shipping promotions on selected wines.

** State regulations in Connecticut & New York prohibit wine and food from being shipped in the same package. As such, The Wine Cache does not offer for sale in these states any gift baskets, clubs or collections that contain both food and wine.

*** Texas state law prohibits us from shipping wines containing more than 16% alcohol.


Can we ship to a residential address?

Yes, however we encourage our customers to ship to Business addresses to ensure the availablility of an adult to recieve the delivery.


Who will we ship wine to?

We will ship wine to anyone in the states that we ship to that is at least 21 years of age. Adult signature verification with official ID is required for all deliveries. 

 
What are the terms and conditions on shipping? 

Title to, and ownership of, all wine passes from The Wine Cache to the purchaser in the State of Ohio and the purchaser takes all responsibility for the shipping of it from Ohio to the purchaser’s home state. By arranging for transportation of the wine, The Wine Cache is providing a service to, and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service from The Wine Cache, the purchaser is representing that they are acting in a fashion compliant with their local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation and delivery of wine. The purchaser represents that they have obtained any required permission, paid any required fees or taxes, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of wine and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and authorizes that they are 21 years of age.  The Wine Cache only uses shippers that require the purchaser to provide proof of age at the time of the delivery.
